Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg quince
  • 0.5 kg apples
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (2:1)

    Quarter the quinces and remove the pits. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 1 hour. Remove and let cool.

    Peel the apples and quince, discard the cores, cut into small pieces, then puree.

    Cook the mixture with gelatin sugar for five minutes. Spread the mass onto a sheet and allow to dry for 2–3 days.

    Cut into bite-sized rectangles and store in an airtight container.
