Ingredients
- 700 g waxy cooking potatoes
- 700 g pumpkin flesh
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 100 g butter
- 100 ml hot milk
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- Salt
- nutmeg
- thyme (for garnish)
Instructions

For the puree, peel the potatoes and cook in salted water for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, add the chopped pumpkin flesh with turmeric and half the butter to a pot, add about 80-100 ml water, and simmer until soft for 15-20 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and mash them while hot using a potato masher or press; stir in the hot milk and remaining butter.

Puree the pumpkin finely and mix into the mashed potatoes, combine well, season with vinegar, salt, and nutmeg. Transfer to a bowl, garnish with thyme, and serve.
