  • 500 g butter pumpkin
  • 200 g potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 4 Tbsp sunflower oil
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • Cinnamon

    Peel the pumpkin, potatoes, and onions; remove seeds from the pumpkin. Roughly chop all and grate finely in a food processor. Transfer to a bowl and mix with flour and eggs into a smooth dough. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

    Heat half of the oil in a pan. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the pan, spread evenly, and fry each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Up to 4–6 pieces can be cooked simultaneously. Drain on kitchen paper and keep warm. Prepare the remaining dough in the leftover oil. Mix crème fraîche with salt, pepper, and a touch of cinnamon and serve with the rösti.
