Ingredients

  • 300 g frozen puff pastry
  • 300 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 onion
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 50 g smoked ham
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 TL tomato paste
  • 2 EL flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.25 l milk
  • 200 g grated Emmental cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Let the puff pastry thaw. Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it in butter until translucent. Dice the ham and add it with the ground meat; cook while stirring.

    Heat the tomatoes briefly, cool them, peel, quarter, deseed, and dice finely. Add tomato paste to the meat mixture, season with salt and pepper, and let it cool.

    Roll out the puff pastry and line a 24 cm springform pan with it. Spread the meat filling over the pastry base. Whisk flour into the eggs.

    Gradually whisk in milk and fold in the cheese. Season with salt and pepper, then pour over the meat. Bake at 225 °C for 35 minutes until golden‑brown.
