Puff Pastry Caviar Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (frozen)
  • flour (for rolling)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 50 g sour cream
  • 50 g Keta caviar
  • dill

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Thaw the puff pastry. Roll each sheet to twice its size on a floured surface. Cut into fish shapes with a cookie cutter or stencil.

    Preheat oven to 225°C (437°F).

  3. 3.

    Place the cut pieces on a wet baking tray and prick them several times with a fork.

  4. 4.

    Whisk the egg yolk with milk and brush the fish shapes thinly. Bake for about 7 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.

    Spread crème fraîche over each fish shape. Garnish with caviar and dill.
