Ingredients

  • 1.5 EL star anise syrup
  • 1 star anise
  • fine lemon zest
  • honey melon ball
  • 100 ml Prosecco (cold)
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 8 star anise
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

    For the syrup, thinly peel only the yellow part of the lemon zest with a microplane. Bring to a boil in water with star anise and sugar until the crystals dissolve. Remove from heat and let steep for about 10 minutes. Transfer the syrup to a sealable container and chill until use. Add all ingredients for the drink into the glass and top with sparkling wine.

    For the drink, pour Prosecco and syrup into a champagne flute, stir, and serve with lemon twists and melon balls.
