A potato-zucchini gratin with tomatoes and bacon featuring fresh fruit-vegetable ingredients from the Spoonsparrow collection.

Ingredients

  • 400 g waxy potatoes
  • 400 g Tomatoes
  • 400 g zucchini
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g bacon (slices)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp oregano (chopped)
  • 250 g whipping cream
  • 100 g mountain cheese (freshly grated)
  • butter flakes

Instructions

    Peel, wash, and slice the potatoes.

  2. 2.

    Wash, trim, and slice the tomatoes and zucchini.

  3. 3.

    Peel and cut the onions into rings.

  4. 4.

    If desired, halve the bacon slices.

  5. 5.

    Layer the prepared ingredients in a greased baking dish in alternating brick-like patterns, seasoning with salt and pepper, sprinkling oregano on top, and pouring cream around the edges.

    Spread cheese over the surface and place butter flakes on top.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
