Ingredients

  • 300 g potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 800 ml broth
  • 500 g yellow wax beans
  • 400 g sour cream
  • parsley

Instructions

    Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Peel and dice the onion. Sauté both in hot butter in a pot, add marjoram, salt and pepper. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.

    Wash, trim and cut the beans into pieces about 4 cm long. Roughly purée the soup. Stir in the sour cream. Add the beans to the soup and simmer for another 10 minutes.

    Taste the soup, serve on plates and sprinkle with parsley leaves.
