Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes (starchy)
- 1 Red Onion
- 4 tbsp Sour cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Vinegar
- 4 tbsp vegetable broth
- Salt
- 2 Spring Onions
- 300 g smoked trout
- 2 tbsp capers
- a handful of fresh herbs (e.g., parsley; cress)
Instructions

Wash the potatoes and steam for about 25 minutes. Peel, let them cool, then slice.

Peel the onion and cut into strips.

Whisk sour cream with mayonnaise, vinegar, and vegetable broth to make a dressing. Wash, trim, and finely chop the spring onions. Mix into the dressing and season with salt. Combine the potatoes and onions, spread on plates. Tear the smoked trout into pieces and scatter over the salad. Sprinkle capers and herbs before serving.
