  • 500 g smoked mackerel fillet
  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • 250 ml whipping cream (at least 30% fat)
  • 100 g low-fat quark
  • 50 g freshly grated cheese (e.g., Gouda)
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • butter (for the dish)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Cut the mackerel fillets into bite‑sized pieces. Peel, wash, and slice or shave the potatoes thinly.

    Whisk together the cream, quark, cheese, and eggs; season with salt and pepper.
