Ingredients

  • 600 g waxy potatoes
  • plant oil (for frying)
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel the potatoes, cut into thin strips or shave them and pat dry with paper towels.

    Heat the oil in a deep fryer or wide pot to about 180°C (the pot is hot enough when small bubbles rise on a wooden spoon placed inside).

    Fry the potato pieces in batches until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.

    Remove rosemary needles. Season the potatoes with rosemary and salt and serve as quickly as possible.
