Plum Liqueur

A fresh recipe featuring plums and spices from the grain category.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg blue plums
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 bottle Korn
  • 0.5 bottle Rum

Instructions

    Pit the plums. Place the fruit and spices in a jar, pour alcohol over them ensuring they are covered. Seal the jar airtight. Store in a warm place for 2 to 3 weeks.

    Strain and filter. Prepare a sugar solution from 200 g sugar and 250 ml water, let it cool and mix with the infusion. Taste and adjust if desired.

    Fill bottles with the liqueur, seal tightly and let mature for 3 to 4 months.
