Plum Crumble with Pine Nuts

The Plum Crumble with Pine Nuts from Spoonsparrow is delicious and can be prepared in no time.

Ingredients

  • 700 g plums
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 110 g whole wheat sugar
  • 250 g spelt flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g peeled pine nuts

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C; gas: level 2-3).

    Wash, dry, halve, pit and quarter the plums. Arrange them tightly in a greased baking dish if needed and sprinkle with 1 tsp cinnamon and 3 tbsp whole wheat sugar.

    For the crumble, combine butter, spelt flour, remaining whole wheat sugar and remaining cinnamon in a bowl and rub between your hands until crumbly crumbs form. Spread the crumbs over the plums and scatter pine nuts on top.

    Bake the plum crumble in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
