- 3 ripe pears
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- butter (for pan)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 175 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 175 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 3 tbsp milk
- 350 g flour
- 1.5 tsp Baking Powder

Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan.

Peel, quarter, and core the pears; cut into thin slices. Toss immediately with lemon juice. Grease a tart pan with butter, sprinkle the bottom with sugar until it is opaque, and arrange the pear slices in a fan shape on top. For the dough, beat the butter until fluffy and gradually fold in the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, zest, and milk. Mix flour with baking powder and whisk into the batter. Spread the dough over the pears, smooth the surface, and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes (do a toothpick test). Remove the finished tart, let it cool briefly, then carefully flip onto a serving plate. Serve plated.
