Pea Cream Soup

Pea cream soup: Simple and quick to make, this pea cream soup is so delicious and calorie-free. This soup is a pleasure to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
  • 550 g yellow peas (canned, drained weight)
  • 850 ml broth (preferably vegetable broth)
  • 120 g poultry sausages (2 poultry sausages)
  • 1 stem lovage
  • 75 ml double cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the diced onion until translucent.

    Meanwhile, rinse and drain the peas in a sieve.

  3. 3.

    Add the peas and broth to the onions, bring everything to a boil and simmer covered over medium heat for 10 minutes.

    In the meantime, slice the poultry sausages. Wash, dry, and finely chop the lovage leaves.

    Add the cream to the pot and purée the soup finely with an immersion blender. Add the lovage and sausage slices, season the soup with salt and pepper, bring to a boil again and serve immediately.
