Ingredients

  • 300 g farfalle
  • 0.5 bunch scallions
  • 1 can tuna (nature, ca. 130 g drained weight)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 1 tsp grated horseradish (fresh or jarred)

Instructions

    Wash and trim the scallions; slice the white and light green parts into rings, setting aside some of the green.

    Drain the tuna.

    Sauté the scallions in hot olive oil, add the drained tuna and cook for a few minutes, then stir in cream and lemon juice, heat through, and blend. Season with salt, pepper, and horseradish to taste.

    Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Slice the scallion rings finely.

    Drain the pasta, let it dry slightly, and mix with the tuna sauce. Serve on preheated plates and sprinkle with scallion ribbons.
