Ingredients

  • 400 g farfalle
  • Salt
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 can peeled tomatoes
  • Pepper
  • 300 g frozen peas
  • 350 g tuna in its own juice
  • 200 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 handful basil

Instructions

    Cook pasta according to package instructions in plenty of boiling salted water. Peel onion and dice very finely. Peel garlic and mince.

    Heat oil in a pot, sauté onion and garlic. Add tomato paste and cook briefly. Add tomatoes with liquid. If needed add a little water and season with salt and pepper.

    Add peas and simmer for 5–10 minutes over low heat. Drain tuna, flake it, add to sauce and warm for 2 minutes over medium heat. Drain pasta and mix with sauce. Wash basil, shake dry, fold in, divide into bowls and serve immediately.
