Pasta with Squid and Peas

Ingredients

  • 300 g fresh squid tubes
  • 200 g canned tomatoes
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 70 ml white wine
  • 150 g Frozen Peas
  • 500 g Fettuccine
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wash the squid, pat dry, cut diagonally into rings. Heat oil and brown the squid all around.

    Peel the garlic, squeeze it in. Slice basil leaves into strips, fold in, sauté briefly, deglaze with wine. Add tomatoes with juice, break up slightly with a spoon, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

    Add the peas, simmer another 5 minutes. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, mix with the ragout, plate and serve.
