Ingredients

  • 500 g Ruoti
  • Salz
  • 2 ripe pears
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 EL plant oil
  • 200 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat)
  • 200 g Gorgonzola (cut into pieces)
  • 100 g peeled halved walnuts

Instructions

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, wash the pears, quarter them, remove the core and cut into slices.

    Peel the onion and slice it into strips. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion strips and pear slices for 2-3 minutes.

    Add the cream, Gorgonzola, and walnuts; season with salt and pepper and simmer for another 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Drain the cooked pasta, add it to the pears, toss briefly, and serve on deep plates.
