Pasta with Orange Swiss Chard

The pasta with orange swiss chard from Spoonsparrow lands on the table in less than half an hour – perfect for busy cooks!

Ingredients

  • 300 g Swiss chard
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 8 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250 g whole‑grain spaghetti
  • 1 organic orange (juice and zest)

Instructions

    Wash and trim the swiss chard. Cut stems into very small pieces and slice leaves into strips. Dice the shallot and mince the garlic. Wash and halve the tomatoes.

    Heat the olive oil in a pan. Sauté the shallot and garlic over medium heat until translucent. Add the swiss chard and cook for about 10 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti in plenty of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Combine the tomatoes, orange juice and zest with the swiss chard and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then serve the pasta on plates.
