Ingredients

  • 400 g penne pasta
  • 4 tbsp coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 tbsp ground macadamia nuts
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • Parmesan (50 g, grated)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp sage leaves (finely sliced)

    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

    Toast the chopped nuts in a dry pan without fat, then set aside.

    Whisk together the grated cheese with the cream and ground nuts; simmer briefly. Season with salt and pepper, stir in the toasted nuts and sage, and combine with the cooked pasta.
