Pasta with Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 small Chinese cabbage
- 2 onions
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp chives
- 2 sprigs marjoram
- Salt
- 350 g whole wheat spaghetti
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 150 g whipping cream
- 2 tsp sambal oelek
- 4 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- black pepper (ground)

Clean the Chinese cabbage, separate into leaves, wash, dry and cut into strips. Peel onions and garlic. Dice the onion and slice the garlic. Wash the marjoram and pluck the leaves from the stems.

Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Whisk together vinegar, 8 tbsp water, salt and pepper, then stir in 2 tbsp oil. Add the chives.

Heat the remaining oil and briefly sauté the garlic slices over low heat. Stir in cream with 1/2 cup hot pasta water and mix in marjoram, sambal oelek and Parmesan; season with salt and pepper.

Arrange the salad on plates and drizzle with the dressing. Drain the spaghetti, let it drain, then toss with the sauce. Plate the spaghetti alongside the salad and serve.
