- 500 g spaghetti
- Salt
- 3 cloves garlic
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- Lemon juice
- a pinch sugar
- Cayenne pepper
- 50 g freshly grated Parmesan

Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Peel and slice the garlic. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Slowly brown the garlic in hot oil until golden. Add the tomatoes, reduce heat, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add parsley, season with lemon juice, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper. Toss the drained spaghetti with a splash of pasta water, sprinkle with parmesan, and serve.
