Ingredients

  • 400 g short macaroni
  • Salt
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp basil (cut into strips)
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Nutmeg (freshly grated)
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 50 g freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.

    Cook the macaroni in salted water until very firm, rinse under cold water and drain.

    Slice the leeks lengthwise, wash, trim and cut into thick rings. Blanch briefly in boiling salted water, rinse and drain well.

    Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Combine with leeks, basil and pasta; season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, then transfer to a baking dish. Spread the crème fraîche over the top and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and Parmesan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
