Pasta with Broccoli, Sausage and Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 bell peppers (red and yellow)
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g raw bratwurst
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 300 g broccoli florets
- 400 g orecchiette pasta
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp Dried oregano

Peel, quarter, seed and dice the tomatoes. Wash, halve, clean and dice the bell peppers. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté both in hot oil briefly. Add the bratwurst cut into bite‑sized pieces and brown together. Add the tomatoes and deglaze with wine. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.

Cook the orecchiette in salted water until al dente.

When the sauce is slightly creamy, add the broccoli and bell peppers, season with salt and pepper, stir in oregano, and cook for another 5–6 minutes. If needed, add a splash of water.

Finally toss the drained orecchiette into the sauce, taste, and serve.
