Pasta with Bolognese Sauce

The pasta with Bolognese sauce is always a good idea for a classic lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 stalk Celery
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 125 ml red wine
  • 125 ml robust beef broth
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 300 g Ground Beef
  • 1 can peeled tomatoes (ca. 400 g)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 1 handful basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice or grate carrot and celery. Peel and finely chop onion. Heat oil, sauté onions and pressed garlic, add vegetables and cook briefly. Add ground beef in batches, stir until crumbly at high heat. Pour in wine and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper, stir in tomato paste and peeled tomatoes, simmer gently for about 1 hour.

    Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, let rest, and arrange on plates. Spoon sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with coarsely chopped basil and season with pepper before serving.
