Party Meatballs

The small party meatballs are easy to prepare and popular at any celebration – try the recipe from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned roll
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 handful parsley
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 500 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 egg yolk
  • a pinch piment
  • a pinch ginger powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper (from the grinder)

Instructions

    Soak the roll in milk.

    Rinse the parsley, shake dry and finely chop. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic; sauté with the bay leaf in 1 tbsp hot oil until translucent. Remove the bay leaf and mix the onions and garlic with the well-extracted roll, ground meat, egg yolk, parsley, piment, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Knead into a firm meat mixture.

    Shape small balls with wet hands and fry slowly in 3-4 tbsp hot oil for about 10 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Serve with a fresh salad.
