Paprika in Oil

Ingredients
- 3 yellow bell peppers
- 250 g green olives (optional with paprika filling)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 100 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)

Preheat the oven to grill mode.

Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds, stems and white membranes, and place them skin-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Grill in the oven for about 10 minutes until the skins blister and begin to char. Remove from the oven and cover with a damp kitchen towel. Let cool, then peel off the skins, cut into pieces, and combine with olives in a bowl.

Peel and press the garlic. Mix together with lemon juice, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper, and stir into the vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate.

Transfer to a jar if desired and take to a picnic. Serve with a fresh cheese dip if you like.
