Pappardelle with Bean-Thunfisch Sauce

Ingredients

  • 400 g pappardelle
  • 150 g thunfisch (1 can)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 can white beans (250 g drained weight)
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • chili flakes
  • small sage leaf (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

    Drain thunfisch and flake it. Peel and dice onion and garlic.

    Rinse beans and drain them.

  4. 4.

    Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion and garlic while stirring. Add tomatoes, then beans, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the thunfisch and taste.

    Drain pasta, toss it with some cooking water into the sauce, and serve on preheated plates. Garnish with sage.
