Ingredients

  • 4 blood sausages
  • 3 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 tart apples
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wash the apples, quarter them, remove seeds and slice. Peel the onions, halve them, thinly slice and roast in clarified butter until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper. Caramelize powdered sugar with butter in a pan, add apple slices and cook briefly until tender.

    Brown the blood sausages in clarified butter on all sides.

    Serve the blood sausage with apple slices and onion rings on a preheated plate, garnish with parsley if desired.
