Ingredients

  • 1 sea bream (ca. 400 g, gutted, ready to cook)
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 2 Organic lemons
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

    Wash the sea bream inside and out and pat dry with kitchen paper. Season all sides with salt and pepper. Make shallow cuts about 5 cm apart on one side with a sharp knife. Place in a roasting pan.

    Rinse an untreated lemon and slice it. Squeeze juice from the second lemon. Pour lemon juice and olive oil over the sea bream, top with lemon slices and bay leaf. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (gas: level 3‑4, fan: 180 °C) for about 20–25 minutes, spooning the pan juices over the fish occasionally.
