Oven‑Baked Potatoes

These oven potatoes are the perfect side dish – crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfectly seasoned. Cook them now!
Ingredients
- 1.2 kg potatoes
- 4 tbsp clarified butter
- Salt
- black pepper

Peel the potatoes, cut each into halves or quarters depending on size, and blanch in a pot of boiling salted water for 3–5 minutes. Drain and let them dry well.

Cut the butter into cubes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C fan‑forced; gas: level 3). Season the potatoes with salt and pepper. Place them in a baking dish and distribute the butter cubes evenly over the top. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Turn the potatoes, add more butter if desired, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
