Ingredients

  • 500 g lamb shoulder meat (boneless)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 125 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • Pepper
  • 8 small onions
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Salt
  • sumac (for dusting)

Instructions

    Cut lamb into cubes. Mix lemon juice with olive oil, thyme and pepper. Toss the meat with the mixture and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Peel onions and blanch briefly. Quarter the bell pepper and clean it. Cut each quarter into wide strips.

    Remove the meat from the marinade, drain, and skewer alternately with onions and peppers, brushing with remaining marinade. Grill on a preheated grill on the second rack from above for about 5-10 minutes per side. Season, plate, and dust with sumac.
