The Orange Quark from Spoonsparrow is quick to make and tastes as good for breakfast as it does for dessert or a sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds (15 g)
  • 3 tsp sesame seeds (5 g)
  • 2 tsp crushed flaxseeds (5 g)
  • 3 organic oranges
  • 500 g quark (20% fat in the tub)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

    Roast sunflower seeds, sesame and flaxseeds in a hot pan without oil over medium heat for 3 minutes. Then set aside to cool.

    Peel two oranges so that all the white pith is removed. Cut fruit segments between the separating membranes, catching the juice. Rinse the remaining orange hot, pat dry, grate its zest finely and squeeze out the juice.
