Orange Jelly

Ingredients
- 6 sheets red gelatin
- 10 blood oranges (juice included)
- 1 lemon (juice included)
- 100 g sugar
- 4 tbsp Cointreau
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 l milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 Eggs
- 80 g sugar
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 untreated blood orange (some zest)
- 2 Blood oranges
- fresh mint
- powdered sugar
Instructions

Soak gelatin in cold water. In a pot heat orange and lemon juice, sugar, Cointreau and cinnamon; squeeze out gelatin and dissolve it into the liquid. Strain through a fine sieve into molds, reserve leftover, and chill for several hours. Remove 4 tbsp of milk, warm the remaining amount, scrape vanilla pod and warm both in milk.

Whisk remaining milk with eggs, sugar and cornstarch. Remove vanilla pod from milk, bring to boil and stir in starch mixture. Boil briefly then remove from heat. Fillet blood oranges, cut zest into fine strips.

Spread vanilla foam on plates, pour orange jelly from molds. Warm leftover jelly, pour over the foam and swirl with a wooden stick to create hearts. Garnish with orange fillets, zest strips and mint leaves.
