Nut Macarons

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 8 Tbsp sugar
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g walnuts (chopped)
  • 100 g almond kernels (ground)

Instructions

    Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding the sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is pale and glossy and holds firm when lifted.

    Preheat the oven to 150°C fan. Prepare baking trays with parchment paper.

    Fold in the raisins, walnuts and almonds. Using two teaspoons, drop dollops onto the trays, leaving space between them.

  4. 4.

    Bake the macarons for about 35 minutes, cool on a wire rack and store tightly sealed.
