Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 0.125 l milk
  • 50 g chocolate chips
  • 80 ml eggnog

  • 150 g chocolate glaze

Instructions

    Grease and dust a pan with flour.

    Beat butter until fluffy, add sugar and vanilla sugar, and mix until creamy. Gradually fold in eggs until sugar dissolves. Mix flour and baking powder, sift some over the batter, stir in, add 4 tablespoons of milk, sift more flour on top, and continue until smooth. Process everything into a silky batter. Fold in chocolate chips and eggnog. Add more or less milk if needed to make the batter smooth and spreadable. Pour batter into the pan, level it, and bake at 175°C for about 60 minutes (test with a toothpick). Let cool, remove from the pan, coat with chocolate glaze, let set, and serve.
