Ingredients

  • 2 kg mussels
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 100 ml fish stock
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp parsley

Instructions

    Wash the mussels thoroughly, steam if desired and remove the beard. Discard any mussels that are already open. Peel the shallots and garlic; slice the shallots into thin rings and mince the garlic.

    Heat oil in a pot and sauté the garlic with the shallots until translucent. Add the mussels, pour in wine and stock, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
