Muesli with Berries and Yogurt

Muesli with berries and yogurt from Spoonsparrow: Ideal as a breakfast or for an energy boost in between!

Ingredients

  • 150 g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp almond flakes
  • 1 Orange (juice)
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 250 g yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 200 g Low-fat quark
  • 200 g strawberries

Instructions

    Toast the oats in a hot, dry pan over medium heat for 3 minutes. Remove and let cool before filling glasses. Toast the almond flakes in the same pan until golden brown and allow to cool.

    Halve the orange and squeeze out the juice. Wash the mint, shake off excess water, and finely chop the leaves. Mix the orange juice with mint and honey.

    Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife. Stir the vanilla seeds into the yogurt and quark mixture. Wash, pit, and slice the strawberries.

    Drizzle the orange juice over the oats and spread the yogurt-quark mix on top. Garnish with strawberries and sprinkle almond flakes before serving, or seal and refrigerate until ready.
