Ingredients

  • 2 mangoes
  • 2 balls of mozzarella (about 125 g each)
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 1 untreated lime
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • 50 g walnut kernels
  • fresh oregano (for garnish)

Instructions

    Peel the mango, cut the flesh on either side of the pit into slices.

    Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Wash the chili, slit lengthwise, remove seeds and white membranes, then finely chop.

    Wash the lime hot, pat dry, zest a bit of peel, and squeeze out the juice. Mix lime juice and zest with chili and olive oil. Season with salt.

    Arrange alternating slices of mango and mozzarella on a plate. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over them and drizzle with the vinaigrette. Garnish with oregano if desired and serve.
