Ingredients
- 2 tsp Provençal herbs (dried)
- 1 fresh red chili pepper
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp coarsely crushed peppercorns
- 5 cloves garlic
- 300 g mini mozzarella balls
- 0.5 l olive oil
- Salt

Peel the garlic cloves. Wash the chili pepper, cut it lengthwise, deseed, remove the white membrane and slice into thin strips.

Place the garlic cloves and mozzarella balls in a sealable jar, distribute the herbs, chili slices, and peppercorns between them. Mix lemon juice with olive oil and pour over the contents, then let steep for about 10 days in a cool place.
