Ingredients
- 1 sponge cake base (sponge, from 6 eggs)
- 1 Banana
- 1 splash Lemon juice
- 2 packs whipped cream stabilizer
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 100 g Sour cream
- 12 round butter cookies
- 150 g butter
- 8 Tbsp sugar
- 100 g cream cheese
- 6 tbsp honey
- 150 g powdered sugar (more if needed)
- purple food coloring
- 24 small double-layer cookies
- 30 g marzipan (for the eyes)
- 24 brown chocolate lenses (for the eyes)
- fruit gummy string (for hair)
- chocolate sauce (for garnish)
Instructions
-
1.
For the cream, peel and roughly chop the banana, then mash it with a fork. Add lemon juice to prevent browning. Crumble the cake base finely and add the sour cream. Whip the cream with stabilizer until stiff. Mix everything well; if the mixture is too crumbly, add more cream or sour cream until a firm but pliable dough forms.
-
2.
Divide the dough into 12–14 portions and spread it over the cookies, shaping each into a "mountain." Chill for at least 30 minutes.
-
3.
Meanwhile, for the decoration, beat room‑temperature butter with sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in cream cheese and honey, then add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until smooth and pourable. Color the mixture with purple food coloring to the desired shade.
-
4.
Place a small amount of chocolate sauce on each plate, top it with a dough mountain, and add two cookies as monster feet.
-
5.
Fill a piping bag fitted with a small round tip with the cream and pipe thin swirls over the mountains.
-
6.
Repeat for all monsters.
-
7.
Roll marzipan between two sheets of parchment, cut into thin slices for the eyes, place one chocolate lens on each slice, and position the eyes where desired.
-
8.
Add a drizzle of chocolate sauce to the monster head and insert gummy snake strands as hair. Serve immediately.
