Ingredients

  • 60 g fresh peppermint
  • 200 g white cane sugar
  • 750 ml white rum

    Rinse the peppermint with cold water and shake well to dry. Pour the cane sugar into a wide-mouth bottle. Add the peppermint to the bottle and fill with rum. Seal the bottle tightly and store in a warm, bright place for about 6 weeks. Regular shaking helps the sugar dissolve faster. Filter the mixture through a coffee filter and transfer it to a clean sealed bottle. Let the liqueur rest for another 5 weeks.
