Ingredients
- 1 beautifully shaped watermelon (≈2 kg)
- 100 g clementines
- 700 g fresh pineapple
- 100 g peach flesh (possibly canned)
- 150 g candied sugar
Instructions
-
1.
Wash the melon thoroughly and dry it. Carve a pattern into its rind in any design you like, then cut off the top about 3 cm from the stem end. Slice the bottom slightly to make it stand upright.

2.
Remove the flesh from the melon, freeing it from seeds without damaging the rind. Weigh out 100 g of melon flesh and combine with the other fruits, cutting them into small pieces. Fill the hollowed melon shell with these fruit chunks and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. Bring approximately 1 L of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the candied sugar and dissolve it. Pour the syrup into a bowl and let cool. Once cooled, pour as much syrup as desired over the fruit inside the melon. Replace the top lid and serve.
