Ingredients

  • 1 kg small watermelon
  • 1 kg honeydew melon
  • 2 limes (1 organic)
  • 1 l sparkling mineral water (ice cold)
  • Also: ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Halve the watermelon and remove large seeds. Cut 2 sections of flesh, including skin, into triangles and set aside.

  2. 2.

    Use a melon baller to scoop balls from the remaining flesh and place them in a bowl or pitcher.

  3. 3.

    Halve the honeydew melon, seed it with a spoon, and scoop out round pieces of flesh. Add these to the watermelon balls.

  4. 4.

    Rinse the organic lime hot, dry it, and use a vegetable peeler to cut thin spirals of zest.

  5. 5.

    Cut both limes in half, squeeze out the juice, and pour it into the bowl. Top the melon mixture with sparkling mineral water and add ice cubes. Garnish with lime zest and melon wedges.
