Ingredients

  • 300 g Ground Beef
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 0.5 loaf (from yesterday)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 40 g Butter
  • 30 g flour
  • 2 tbsp Curry Powder
  • 0.25 l vegetable broth (from the jar)
  • 0.25 l milk
  • 0.5 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp apricot juice
  • 200 g canned apricots
  • 5 slices canned pineapple
  • Lemon balm

Instructions

    Heat butter, stir in flour and curry powder, sauté briefly, then deglaze with broth and milk. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add spices and lemon juice, cut apricots into wedges, dice pineapple.

    Combine ground beef with egg, spices, and raisins. Soak bread in lukewarm water, squeeze out excess liquid, add to the meat mixture and knead well. Shape 16 small balls from the dough and let them simmer in the curry sauce for 15 minutes. Add fruit, heat through, and garnish with lemon balm before serving.
