Ingredients
- 2 old-fashioned spelt rolls
- 0.5 bunch Parsley
- 70 g onions (1 onion)
- 80 g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp mustard (spicy)
- 800 g ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tsp marjoram (dried)
Instructions

Slice the spelt rolls and soak them in slightly warm water.

Wash, dry, and finely chop the parsley. Peel and dice the onion.

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent for 1–2 minutes; let cool slightly. Squeeze out excess water from the rolls. Mix the squeezed rolls, onions, eggs, mustard, parsley, and ground beef in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Knead well and shape into ten meatballs.

Heat remaining butter in the pan, fry four meatballs at a time over medium heat for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat until all are cooked.
