Meatballs
The classic meatballs from Spoonsparrow shine with high-quality, well-utilized iron and a generous portion of protein!
Ingredients
- 1 stale roll
- 2 small onions
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 800 g mixed ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp sharp mustard
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions

Soak the roll in lukewarm water.

Peel and finely dice the onions. Wash, dry, shake off excess water from the parsley, pluck the leaves and finely chop. In a bowl combine the ground meat with the egg, mustard, and onions. Season with salt and pepper. Add the squeezed-out roll and chopped parsley, then knead everything together well. Shape into 8 patties.

Heat oil in a large, hot pan and brown the patties for 1–2 minutes on each side. Reduce heat and add butter to the pan. Continue cooking the patties for another 4–5 minutes until done, occasionally spooning melted butter over them and turning them.

Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
