Meatball Pockets

Crispy on the outside, spicy inside: The meatball pockets from Spoonsparrow are ideal as a delicious starter or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 150 g tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 EL oil
  • 1 EL chopped parsley
  • 150 g lean minced beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 yufka dough sheets
  • 1 Egg white
  • 500 ml oil

Instructions

    Briefly blanch the tomatoes for a few seconds, cool them, peel, seed and dice finely. Peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté the onion in hot oil in a pan, add the minced beef and tomatoes, cook for about 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper, and stir in the parsley.

    Separate the dough sheets, cut each into four squares with a sharp knife. Spread the filling on each square, brush the edges with egg white, and fold them into parcels.
