Ingredients
- 150 g whipping cream
- 200 g Sour Cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tsp white wine vinegar
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tart apples
- 2 onions
- 200 g pickled cucumbers
- 8 fresh matjes fillets
Instructions

Whisk the cream with sour cream and mayonnaise, then mix in the vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard seeds, and sugar.

Wash the apples, quarter them, remove the core, and slice the flesh crosswise into thin pieces. Peel the onions, halve them, and cut into thin half-rings. Slice the cucumbers into fine rounds.

Combine the apples, onions, and cucumbers with the sauce. Rinse the matjes fillets, pat dry, and add them to the sauce. Let chill in the refrigerator covered for at least 1 hour.
